All across the valley can be found testimonies of this great civilization that flourished here and raised its greatest success between the VI th and VIII th centuries of our era . The attractions that the Mayans left to us include the following: the archaelogical park; the archaelogical site “Las Sepulturas”, the ceremonial centre “Los Sapos”, and the tunnels Rosalila and Los Jaguares .
You will enjoy your 1 night stay in the nearby quaint and charming colonial Town of Copan Ruinas. There are plenty of craft and souvenir shops, restaurants and extra activities to see and explore. This unique little town will surely give you a sense of this deep and rich past of the Mayan world

before you leave. The nearby museums are full of mayan archaeology and treasures. One is located in the central part of the town of Copan Ruinas and the other, Museum of Mayan Sculpture , is located in the main park of the ruins.
On the morning of your departure we will stop by the upper class residential area known as Las Sepulturas Archeological Site . Here you will discover where the past Mayan civilization lived and spent a majority of their time taking care of household business.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Leave San Pedro
Sula in the morning to Copán. Visit to the
mayan site and to the sculptural and ceramic museum, walking
tour of the town of Copan Ruinas.
Overnight in Copan at Hotel Posada Real o Plaza Copan.
Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel, visit to the site of Las Sepulturas, depart to San Pero Sula after lunch.
